About Us:
Collapse Press is an independent, collaborative micropress with a mission to develop projects and amplify voices from different perspectives on themes that we tend to explore through our work: society, identity, gender, race, class, political, ecological, and more. Our goal is to represent the diversity of human experience and identities and affirm the right to all in our creative expression.
We try to support spaces of inclusion and access, vs. spaces of hate and bigotry and racism. We acknowledge that we can and should try to listen, learn, and do better.
Who We Are:
Paul Corman Roberts is Managing Editor, Co-Founder, and handles contracts and financial matters. Paul also manages the West Coast events and a variety of additional/adjacent presses and projects.
E. Lynn Alexander is Associate Editor, Co-Founder, Art/Graphics, Special Projects, Social Media, merch, and East Coast operations and events. She also manages Arsenic Press.
Both coordinate and cohost events on behalf of the press, such as the monthly virtual poetry series The Friday Collapse.
The Friday Collapse is a monthly virtual poetry series that started in 2021 coming out of the pandemic. This event is typically on the last Friday of the month, 6:30 PST and 9:30 PST. (Some exceptions have been made, often with an earlier week in October to avoid Halloween and a skip in August)
