We will be hosting a special edition of The Friday Collapse this month, in support of the Beast Crawl Lit Festival, held each year in Oakland, CA. Why BEAST AID?We have been involved with Beast Crawl since the beginning, and have curated events under the Collapse Press banner for the past four years. We are joining with the community to participate in a series of live (Oakland, CA) and virtual events throughout the weekend. Check out the Beast Crawl pages for more details on events.The goal this year is to raise some funds for the Beast organization.What you can expect:Hosted by Richard Loranger and E. Lynn Alexander, we have eight poets who will read for about five minutes each. We will also have a limited open mic session after the features with a firm three minute limit. We will have details about the open mic sign up, bios and information about our poets, and more posted in this event. Also IG @collapsepressDetails on donations will be posted, as well. This is a free event and donations are not required.
